Gemological info: Smoky Quartz can be smoky in color from the presence of sodium. Excellent specimens are currently found in Brazil, Switzerland, and Mexico. In the U.S., fine elestials and scepter’s are found in Nevada, and other sites include Arkansas, California, and Colorado.

Metaphysical info: Dissipates negativity. Balances energies of mind and body. Good for meditation. Protective and grounding stone. Enhances dream awareness and channeling abilities. Aids depression and is mildly sedative and relaxing.
